The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts is known to be the oldest drama school in the UK and has been offering examinations for over 130 years.
These classes will focus on the selected syllabus and help you work towards better performance skills. The syllabus offers progress through examination and all LAMDA students will equally be supported throughout this process.
 

The choice of exam repertoire presented is of the learner's own choice, although they will be guided towards material that suits them by the teacher. The exam syllabus is analytical and inspires the student to gain knowledge and understanding of their material.

While LAMDA Musical Theatre focuses on the music and singing, LAMDA Performance has an alternative focus into the script and characterisation of the material. Both sets of material can be taken as a solo or duologue exam.
