Katie Daniel
Founder & Principal
Before studying professionally, Katie enjoyed the local theatre scene in Jersey taking part in many local productions such as Dick Whittington, Sister Act, Hairspray and Les Miserables.
Katie enjoys an array of music genres from classical to rock but definitely enjoys a good 80's classic singalong song. Katie's favourite artists would probably be Michael Jackson, Take That or Billie Eilish.

Katie recently choreographed Jersey's local production of Elf The Musical and excited to see what future opportunities arise as the school continues to grow.

Acting and Songwriting
​
Before studying at university, I performed in Jersey with Drama Lab and the Actor's Centre Theatre Company. Whilst studying professionally, I discovered a love for theatre of the absurd and have performed in many shows using a variety of weird and whacky techniques to embrace the strange and unique ways to tell stories. My favourite example is when I was in "Love and Information" but performed the whole show through projections and camera tricks!
I've also always loved music, and taught myself how to play guitar after six years of playing the drums. My favourite artists would have to be Billie Eilish, Biffy Clyro and Amy Winehouse.
My most recent production was a musical called "The Pocket Watch Paradox" wherein I wrote the songs and performed as an actor in a crazy story about time travel!

I LOVE video games and will spend my days off in
bed with my cat Lewis, an old Disney film on in the background, and my Nintendo Switch glued to my
hands.
